I have been teaching 2nd Grade for over three years and substitute taught K - 8 this past fall. I have taught in Indiana, Mississippi, and California. I have a passion for education and setting my students up for success. Education is very important to me. I love finding new ways to teach subjects that keep my students engaged and interested.

I believe in whole brain teaching. Every child learns differently, and it is important to find the strengths of each individual. With whole brain teaching, students are fully engaged. For me, it is important to understand the student's likes/dislikes so I can gear my lessons more towards their interests.
