About Me

I am currently a PhD student in the Biochemistry and Cell Biology Program at Rice University. My PhD project deals with customizing 3D hydrogels for cell culture and tissue engineering purposes, but I am well versed in cancer biology, as well. I graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University. I am a native Spanish and English speaker. Teaching life sciences in an academic institution is my dream, and thus, I enjoy tutoring any life science subjects. As I am a fluent Spanish speaker, I am happy to share my skill to help others learn the Spanish language.
