As a Biochemistry and English double major who graduated from Hillsdale College, I am well-versed in a number of subjects and would love to tutor you in mathematics or science or help you to become more proficient as a reader and writer in the humanities. Oftentimes, your subject matter at school is filled with fascinating aspects that you have yet to uncover; my tutoring style reflects that notion--I will guide you to a place where you then will have all of the tools to take the next step forward, but I will not do that for you. You must be willing to work, but I am very happy and capable to assist you along the way. I recently finished my first year of teaching sixth grade at a charter school which seeks to furnish "willing students" with a "rigorous education in the humanities, sciences, and the arts with such instruction in the virtues as will best develop the mind and character of its pupils," and I will seek to do the same here at Varsity Tutors.
