About Me

I am a Health Sciences and Biology double major at Northeastern University, graduating in just one year. I have worked in part-time biology research lab for three years, as well as full-time in a hospital in Boston for over a year now, in both clinical and research settings. My tutoring experience started a few years ago when I taught a nutrition class to children in their early teens, teaching them the basics of nutrition, such as picking healthy ingredients and avoiding processed foods. Since then, I have been a part-time tutor, and I look forward to meeting lots of new students through Varsity Tutors! As a current college student, I have taken many of the classes I tutor very recently, and am still actively involved in learning, especially in science classes. When I am tutoring for a course, I like to teach the students the way I would have liked to be taught, and I try to teach things that help them remember the material more easily, and connect the dots to understand the big picture.
