About Me

As the oldest child in a family of 8, I took on the role of unofficial tutor at a young age. I helped my siblings succeed in classes where they had uninspired or overburdened teachers. I've tutored in a wide variety of subjects, from college chemistry to middle school algebra. I learned from working with my brother Joseph, who has autism, that every student requires a different approach. I scored in the 98th percentile on the SAT and many AP exams, and I've helped many people increase their scores on standardized tests. I'm an engineering student, so I use math, chemistry, and physics knowledge on a daily basis. I bring a systematic problem-solving approach to tutoring. I'm happy to bring my patience and experience to Varsity Tutors, and to help more people achieve success!
