About Me

I am Mathman! I have been teaching math at the high school level for 10 years. I have tutored students even before I began teaching. I enjoy the process of learning. I work to meet the student where they are in the learning process and get to know the way they learn best. This is where the real math adventure begins. My teaching philosophy is student-centered learning. I prefer when the student discovers the answer or process to when they are just told a formula. I believe if you can develop confidence in skills students already have, they quickly build on those skills.
