I am Mathman! I enjoy the process of learning. I work to meet the student where they are in the learning process and get to know the way they learn best. This is where the real math adventure begins. We will explore multiple ways to understand problems to help you on your math journey. My goal is to work myself out of a job and for you to be confident in understanding and doing the math on your own. I want for you to do your very best on the tests required of you. Math......Don't leave school without it!

Hobbies & Interests

I like to read, play board games, spending time with my wife. I also enjoy gold panning and smelting metals.

My teaching philosophy is student-centered learning. I prefer when the student discovers the answer or process to when they are just told a formula. I believe if you can develop confidence in skills students already have, they quickly build on those skills.
