I am in the process of obtaining my Nevada teaching certification & licensure and will ultimately be working in the Clark County School District as a middle and/or high school math teacher. I have experience in and am comfortable with ALL high school math subjects, PSAT prep, SAT prep and ACT prep. The biggest reason that I want to be a teacher and tutor is because I have seen too many people struggle with mathematics topics, get overlooked by their teachers, become frustrated and ultimately give up and end up fearing everything and anything that has to do with math. I understand that not everyone learns in the same way and that sometimes you need a different perspective and way of looking at a particular problem to understand it. That is exactly what I do in my teaching and tutoring - I will meet you where you are in your learning experience and help break math back down to the basics. In my free time, I am an avid sports fan and athlete - I played basketball, baseball and soccer in both high school and college and I have worked as a coach, umpire and referee for 5+ years. I would love to help you in your mathematic endeavors, whether that be test prep, subject review or simply homework help. In my spare time, I am an avid sports fan. I follow professional football, baseball and basketball and have been playing basketball, baseball and soccer since I was in kindergarten. In addition, I love to hike, backpack, camp, travel and explore.
