I graduated with a neuroscience concentration in biology from Stony Brook University recently where I was also a teaching assistant for biology classes. I understand how to deconstruct complex ideas into basic concepts and to build knowledge on strong fundamentals. Rather than bombard a student with information, I want to communicate and receive feedback to understand how they learn. One-on-one tutoring allows students the opportunity to learn at their own pace which is especially important for those in the NYC school system. Aside from academics, I enjoy writing/ playing music, cooking, and traveling.
