About Me

I am excited to use my wide range of knowledge to help students succeed in whatever academic endeavor they pursue. I have a great passion for learning, and relish the opportunity to use my enthusiasm to help students learn and grow as individuals. Tutoring is ideally suited to my strengths as a teacher. I thrive in an environment where I can build a connection with a student based on trust and mutual respect. I work hard to learn about my students' unique learning styles and personalities, and adapt my teaching methods to most effectively meet each student's individual needs. I look forward to the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives. I have previously worked as a reading tutor at a community center in East Harlem, New York. and also taught in the US Peace Corps.
