My teaching experience began as a teacher of horseback riding and horse trainer, where I learned how to work with a wide variety of learning styles. I also studied abroad in Panamawhere I researched poison dart frog behaviorand Spain, in addition to working in a bilingual English/Spanish elementary classroom. I love working through the subtle adjustments which can make an essay powerful, and stepping through the processes of math and algebra. When not in an academic setting, I'm known as a lover of animals, books, and physical activity.
