About Me

My interest in tutoring arises from a love of learning and a background in education. I received my Bachelors degree in Theater from Southwestern University and am earning my Masters degree in Education from Texas State University. I am a certified teacher EC-6th Grade all subjects with an additional certification in ESL. I currently teach fourth grade ELA and Social Studies. I am eager to work with students who want to learn but need a little extra attention and help with certain subject areas. I am a patient and encouraging tutor and get results because I am willing to go the extra mile to find a style of teaching and way of breaking down information that fits what a student needs. My areas of expertise include teaching Elementary core content areas and the Spanish language. I also have a wide range of expertise in History (American and Texas History as well as World Cultures) and Theater including Theater History and coaching acting. I look forward to working with you!
