Each student, younger or older, has the potential to become successful in whatever he/she endeavors. The student is typically stronger in one subject area than another, and some students have more challenges to deal with. Having a positive role model and an environment which caters to the learning style and needs of each student, can help strengthen his/her resolve in overcoming the academic challenges faced. My goal for working with a student is to provide a bridge which will enable him/her to gain knowledge and confidence in areas where s/he struggles.
