I have studied math through multivariate calculus, and while at JMU took advanced courses in physical and quantum chemistry. I am extremely familiar with general chemistry, and tutored throughout my junior and senior with the JMU Student Affiliates of the American Chemical Society. In addition, I have spent hours upon hours talking with other students in study sessions and professors at poster sessions and national research conferences. All of this means, I am very proficient in explaining chemistry and math to both beginners and students who are dealing with more rigorous courses like AP and college level chemistry. I am a Richmond, VA native, and since graduation have moved back to Richmond to remain close to my family. I am passionate about alternative energy and the role chemistry plays in driving that technology forward. I am fascinated by polymer chemistry, and in my spare time love to play music, read, and explore the great outdoors.
