I recently graduated from Portland State University where I received a Bachelors of Science with a major in Mathematics as well as a minor in Secondary Education. During this time I worked with a wide variety of students ranging from 16-50 years of age, and developed strong tutoring, communication, and critical thinking skills and strategies that have been very useful for students who struggle with Mathematics courses. My favorite subject to tutor is Mathematics, primarily Calculus, Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra. I would describe my tutoring style as fun and adaptive. I understand that while a majority of students struggle with Math, making it fun usually helps take away many of these struggles, as well as limits a student from becoming bored or disinterested in the subject. I also know that each student learns differently, being able to adapt to each students current learning style only helps make them more comfortable with Mathematics and usually limits the students confusion.

In my spare time I enjoy snowboarding in the winters, camping, hiking, rafting in the summers. I also enjoy watching sports such as NBA, NFL and NCAA College Football.
