About Me

I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology/Elementary Education with Special Education (dual certified) from Georgian Court University, NJ. I have a passion for teaching and a strong desire to provide students with enthusiasm for learning. Since graduation I have been a substitute teacher for students in elementary and middle schools. Having observed and taught students with diverse backgrounds, I have gained proficiency in designing and implementing differentiated lessons. I believe in using a wide range of strategies and the use of technology to make the lessons more engaging and interesting. As an educator I believe that education encompasses not only academics but social and emotional learning. My teaching philosophy is to provide students will all the opportunities to get involved in their learning process. In my spare time I love to read, doing creative work and talking to people.
