About Me

I'm originally from San Diego, but I moved to Houston in 2007 to attend Rice University. I graduated from Rice in 2011 as a pre-med student with a degree in the environmental sciences and spent the last year working in Honduras at a hospital. In Honduras, I was social worker who organized activities for the children in the cancer ward. I returned to Houston at the end of June to work as a Laboratory Technician at Rice University. I recently applied to medical school for the Fall of 2013, but for the next year, I'd really like to start tutoring again! Why do I love tutoring? Because I've always enjoyed mentoring a student and sharing in his/her successes. While enrolled in high school and throughout the Summer after my first year of college, I mainly focused on tutoring for the SAT and ACT. I have a strong background in math and science, though I feel comfortable enough to tutor for any subject. Hobbies: art, reading, writing, books, music
