About Me

I served in the Peace Corps in Thailand from 2010-2012 where I was an English teacher who worked with children from 4th-10th grade. Previously, I have tutored students in math and English. I am very versatile in the subjects I teach, and I possess a compassionate understanding of what it takes to be a good teacher. There have been times in my life when I was also the struggling student. Therefore, I understand both sides of the equation, and I strive to reach that wonderful moment where they feel as if they 'get it' and feel good about themselves with confidence in their abilities in a particular subject. To me, that is the greatest reward of teaching.
