I'm an undergraduate student at Vanderbilt University majoring in Neuroscience and am pursuing a career in the field of medicine. I love to help students surpass their goals and to make sure that they take away valuable lessons from their tutoring experience. I have previously tutored, and am currently available to tutor, in various subjects, with special emphasis on the maths, statistics, and science gen ed's ranging from middle school level courses to high school level courses.

I am incredibly excited to dedicate myself to helping students amidst one of the greatest public health crises of our time. I have worked with students at both ends of the academic spectrum on not only traditional classroom subjects but also in a 'future preparation and planning' context. I am passionate about finding the best way for a student to learn and often times that encourages me to get outside of my comfort zone and re-imagine the problems in a way my student can best understand them. I am currently studying chemical engineering at the University of Michigan. I have always helped out my fellow students with schoolwork, and I have tutored in the National Honor Society for three years. My tutoring strengths include my abilities to stay calm, be patient, and offer different perspectives on the learning process. I do not just help my students learn the material, but I also teach them how to learn it. I tutor math and test prep courses. Outside of school and tutoring, I play the piano. I have played classical piano for 13 years and jazz piano for 7.

I am a student at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. Currently, I'm studying Engineering while also on a Pre-Med track. I graduated from Millard North Highschool. My favorite subject is math. I enjoy teaching all sorts of math, but I am most passionate about algebra. I do test prep and GED help as well. I firmly believe getting a good education is very important. Sometimes you need some extra help to excel and I'm happy to provide that, as I definitely needed it when I was learning these subjects. In my spare time, you will find me reading, lifting weights, or looking up new recipes to try.

I am also a teaching assistant for one of the psychology professors, and I help students in introduction to psychology learn concepts and prep for exams.

I'm not aggressive or mean-spirited, but I can likely outlast their stubbornness with my own.

I'm a Music Industry major at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles with minors in Songwriting and Theatre. I am a National Merit Scholar, which is based on my standardized test scores, involvement in extracurriculars, and volunteer work. I have experience tutoring in a variety of subjects as part of National Honor Society. Since I recently scored highly on the ACT and PSAT, I have confidence in my ability to help students make advancements in their standardized test scores. I'm also passionate about music theory and have recently excelled in an upper-level music theory class in the USC Thornton School of Music. In my spare time I love playing guitar, songwriting, acting in theatre productions, biking, and studying at coffee shops. I will ensure a learning experience that is enjoyable and productive!

With my background in mechanical engineering, I am excited to help students understand mathematical and scientific concepts, and my lifelong love of reading has prepared me to help students with reading comprehension and writing. My tutoring experience: SAT tutor during high school - Personal middle school tutor during college - Currently an EL (English-learning) Para-educator at my local middle school for all middle school subjects. I know basic Spanish, and I use this to help bridge conceptual gaps in any subject while also helping to teach the English language. I am a good tutor because I have prior experience and can provide a relaxed learning atmosphere while still getting my lessons across and helping students learn. I'm working towards a degree in computer science, but I've thought about switching that over to mathematics-well because I love math. Outside of school subjects; I play video games, do cross country, and like watching documentaries and superhero films.
