I am a Junior at Michigan State University. I am a Neuroscience major with minors in Sociology and Bioethics. I have 3 years of tutoring experience in Math, Chemistry, Biology, and Test prep. I am an avid movie consumer and often use movie scenarios to teach physics like calculating whether the bus would have made the jump in the movie Speed. I also am an amateur woodworker mainly because as fund and rewarding as physics you never really have a physical product in your hand at the end of the experience and woodworking allows me to do that.

I'm a recent graduate from Reed College where I majored in Political science with additional concentrations in environmental science, sociology, philosophy, and 3D art.

I am most passionate when tutoring students in mathematics because, regardless of your field of study, math has a funny way of popping up in whatever you do. As someone who has been the worst and best student in many classes, I understand that low performing students are NOT dumb or lazy and that a stellar tutor can make a big difference. In my free time, I like to sing in my church choir and exercise.
