I am a graduate of Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana (B.A. Spanish) and Wayne State University (M.A. Teaching Foreign Language). I have been with Detroit Public School since 1992. In high school, I struggled with Spanish all four years and when I applied to college I challenged myself to give Spanish just one shot. Spanish finally clicked for me and I have never looked back.
