I am very passionate about teaching, mentoring, precepting, and tutoring students! My favorite subjects to tutor are the NAPLEX and other pharmacy related topics. I have experience in didactic teaching, small group teaching, and experiential teaching in the pharmacy curriculum. I enjoy finding ways to engage learners through a variety of methods, including asking questions, presenting concepts through a discussion format, creating situations to engage critical thinking skills, and using analogies. My favorite moment is when I see my students' eyes light up when they make a connection and understand! I enjoy getting to know students and their learning styles to best engage them and help them to grow. I am very excited and passionate about the field of pharmacy, and wish to share that enthusiasm with you!

I am really excited about working with students in the Philadelphia area! I grew up in Northern Virginia and graduated high school with an IB diploma. For college, I moved to Houston to attend Rice University, where I majored in Psychology. I then earned a masters degree in Religion at Yale and I am now working towards a degree in Bioethics at UPenn. I also completed the premedical requirements during this time.

I am extremely invested in making challenging topics less intimidating and am happy to work with students of all levels!

I am 26 years old born and raised in Seattle Washington, University of British Columbia graduate and current 3rd year medical student. You may look at my accomplishments and assume I must have had a very consistent successful education process. This is not necessarily true, I struggled throughout high school with coursework and was slowly falling behind my peers. I was working very hard but was not getting the academic results that I wanted. I also reached out to academic tutors to help me understand core concepts in various subjects that my peers were not having any trouble with. Even during my undergraduate degree, I reached out to various academic tutors to give me an extra viewpoint on various difficult subjects and concepts. I understand what it is like to need extra help with coursework, I understand growing curious minds and the concepts that give many trouble because I have been through it. I am now a dean's list student at the top of my class in Medical school, and I can truly see how possible it is for any student to reach their academic goals no matter where you have come from. I believe the most intelligent individuals are the ones who can identify their weakness and seek help from others to succeed.

I am a motivated and hardworking first-year PhD student at New York University, studying Data Science. I recently graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.S. in Computer Science and the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign with an M.S. in Data Science. I am a recent graduate and a new mom. I have experience in tutoring undergraduate Physics for about 5 years. I am also interested in tutoring Statistics and Mathematics. It is exiting to be a tutor and share my knowledge with others.

I am a graduate of the Creighton University School of Medicine where I received my M.D. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Philosophy at Marquette University in 2018. During my time at Marquette, I tutored General Biology and General Chemistry, and I was a teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry lab. Not only did I enjoy teaching students my age, but I also pursued teaching opportunities for younger students in high school and middle school. I was a gross anatomy instructor for high school students taking tours through the cadaver labs and I was one of the founders of the Marquette Brain Brigade, where a group of undergraduate students came up with demos/lessons in neuroscience to teach middle school students. Moreover, I sought out private tutoring opportunities at a company called Huntington Learning Center both during undergrad and during medical school where I tutored a wide variety of subjects, including ACT/SAT, for virtually all age groups. I am very comfortable teaching various subjects and ages, and I am a laid back and flexible person. The subjects I am most comfortable teaching would be the sciences anywhere from the basic level to graduate school level. I am so grateful for the educators that allowed me to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor, and I would love to pass it on and help younger students achieve their goals.

I'm Sasha and I am a former high school biology teacher and MBA graduate who is excited to help you find success and enjoyment in your biology, chemistry, or math class or SAT II Subject Test. I taught high school biology at a public high school in New Jersey for three years and really enjoyed working with students. Additionally, I've had success on the SAT and the GMAT exams, and look forward to sharing my tips and tricks with students or business school applicants who are gearing up for these exams. Finally, having worked with a wide range of students, including many with IEPs or Section 504 accomodations, I have lots of strategies and ideas to help students who learn differently master content and can also help students who could use some extra support in their organizational and study skills.
