Hello! I am a recent grad from Georgia Tech, majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering (an intersection of math, computer science, and business) and minoring in Business and Technology. I am originally from Columbus, OH, but chose to come down to Atlanta after getting a full-ride scholarship from Georgia Tech. In my spare time, I love playing/watching sports and travelling around the world (when possible!).After graduating, I am now slated to work for Boston Consulting Group in January 2021. In the meantime, I am excited to tutor and use my education and background to help people like you become successful!I am happy to help with standardized tests, math-related subjects (especially algebra and statistics), and with public speaking/presentation needs!

I am an undergraduate student entering my third year at the University of California, Berkeley. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Statistics. Since I was a sophomore in high school, I've tutored several students in various subjects; this includes my time tutoring high school peers and underclassmen as a member of my high school's Math Honors Society and helping elementary schoolers with fundamental mathematical concepts as an IMACS Teaching Assistant.While I'm comfortable teaching a wide range of subjects, I love mathematics the most (e.g. Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics). I also have a lot of experience with the SAT and SAT Subject Tests, so I would be comfortable helping students in this way as well. As a longtime member of TASSEL (an organization dedicated to helping underprivileged Cambodian children via English education), I understand how valuable education is not only for individuals but for society as a whole, and I hope to play a part in helping people this way. In my free time, I love to play basketball, spend time with family and friends, and watch the NBA and NFL.

My teaching style is student-centered meaning I want to focus on the interests of the student and how that might apply to the concepts we would review. I encourage students to bring all necessary items to their session for maximum effective use of their time. By being prepared in this particular way we can build on the students classroom organizational skills in addition to helping in any area of the curriculum that they may need help on.Mathematics is the universal language. Learning this at a young age had a profound impact on me. It inspired my interest in travel and my passion for learning. Science was the natural progression as it is simply mathematical concepts applied to real world concepts.Some of my hobbies include hiking, skiing and playing soccer.

As a rising senior at the University of Pennsylvania, I've been tutoring since I was a freshman in high school. While I started as a freelance tutor in my hometown of Maplewood, I worked at an SAT tutoring company in Montclair, NJ for two years, in addition to my volunteer tutoring work in West Philadelphia. Additionally, this past summer, I worked at a test prep company in Summit, NJ, in which I tutored both both rising seniors in high school and struggling, eager middle school students. I have taught students of varying ages, education levels, and socioeconomic backgrounds over the years, which I believe has helped me grow as an tutor.Given that this is a service industry, my number one goal is to see my students improve. Tutoring is a give-and-take process, and as such I encourage my students to give me feedback regarding my methods, pace, or level of difficulty. I look to challenge my students, but I will always be there to work through any frustration and see to it that they succeed.I've just recently begun tutoring in writing, but I've been a math tutor for six years now. I am an economics major at school, and as such I've taken many high level math courses. Most importantly, though, I find math genuinely interesting, and will look to instill some of that interest in my tutees.

I am a recent graduate from Cornell University, with a degree in Biological Sciences and a concentration in Genetics, Genomics, and Development, and a minor in Jewish Studies. I'll soon be headed to med school, but in the meantime, I want to help kiddos learn math and science in a way that makes it fun and accessible!

I've been a teacher and a tutor for years, and I haven't yet come close to settling on a subject. I've taught everything from graduate level economics to elementary school reading to test prep to music composition. I've taught businessmen, teenagers, and a classroom full of 10 year olds. And I've gotten results every time. I strongly believe in the power of personalized education, tailored for the individual student and human being. When I'm not tutoring, I spend most of my time on my two indie rock bands, in which I play guitar and bass and write many of the songs. I also like to take my dog, Mac, on walks around my neighborhood of Grant Park.

I am a current student at the University of Miami finishing up a degree in Neuroscience. I have experience tutoring Physics, Chemistry, Trigonometry, Algebra, and Earth Sciences - with each of my students successfully improving their grades in their classes. I know how to learn, and I break down each subject to put the parts together with each student. I plan on taking the MCAT in August and attending medical school after graduation.
