I am currently a student at The Master's University and working towards a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and Publishing. Previous to college, I completed a year-long internship in a 5th-grade classroom. However, due to the pandemic, I did the internship through zoom, so I gained experience with teaching online as I created lessons, helped the kids with test corrections, homework, and in-class activities. I worked with the students multiple times a week, either in groups or individually. Additionally, after my senior year, I tutored a middle schooler in various subjects, including English, math, history, and science. As I teach students, I seek ways to make learning enjoyable. I create lessons that are tailored to their learning styles, utilize their strengths, improve their weaknesses, deepen understanding, and keep them engaged.
