I am a Duke University graduate with a degree in Computer Science, where I also played football and am currently working on a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity. I used to volunteer the local elementary and middle school and also my peers. In college, I helped tutor teammates and family and friends. I was the go to person for math and science when someone needed help even friends siblings at home in different states. Every since I can remember I have always been good at math and enjoyed learning different levels. For tutoring, I have learned to adjust how I tutor based on the needs of the person because everyone learns math different. I currently have a full time job but in my spare time I like being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and animals. My family has a couple cats and a few dogs and I love to go spend time there with them.

I am an actor/composer/lyricist who loves to write new showtunes. Musical theatre is something I have grown to love, and the love, surprisingly, stems from my own devotion to cartoons and video games. But, make no mistake, while I can often be found watching an episode of Justice League, playing Smash, or giving the City of Angels score another listen, I will always put you first. On campus I am involved in the Bilbo lab, which focuses on neuroimmune interactions in abnormal brain development. I am very passionate about helping others enjoy and learn about various fields in STEM.

I am currently a student at Rice University studying both History and Neuroscience. Being the oldest of five kids, working with younger students has always been a part of my life. I can tutor a wide variety of subjects, but I specialize in writing, public speaking, and test taking. My goal for every tutoring session is to give students large-scale takeaways that they can apply in their academic future, maximizing the efficiency of every session.

I am passionate about tutoring kids in math and science because I think that a strong foundation in STEM at an early age can set the tone for their future.
