I specialize in tutoring English, Literature, and Writing, and these subjects are my true passions. There is something uniquely satisfying about helping students find their voice and express their ideas clearly and effectively.
With a strong background in Literature and a passion for teaching, I am dedicated to helping people reach their full potential. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Literature and a J.D., and I bring 9 years of experience teaching writing to the table. My academic journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of language and an ability to convey complex ideas in an accessible manner.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students, from high schoolers grappling with essay writing to college students preparing for exams. My experience has shown me the transformative power of education, and it is incredibly rewarding to see my students grow in confidence and skill.
My teaching philosophy centers around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe that every student has a unique way of learning, and I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. My tutoring style is interactive and student-focused, encouraging active participation and critical thinking. I strive to make each session not only educational but also enjoyable, as I find that students learn best when they are genuinely interested in the material.
I am eager to bring my expertise and enthusiasm to Varsity Tutors, and I look forward to the opportunity to help students achieve their academic goals.
