I am a PhD doctoral candidate at Tennessee Technological University, and I have a masters degree in curriculum and instruction and a bachelors degree in English. I am fluent in SPSS software (statistics), APA, MLA, Chicago (English and humanities), and IEEE (computer science). I have worked as the Lead Writing Instructor for Cookeville Sylvan Learning, and I have also been a teaching assistant to instruct computer science undergraduate students on writing skills, resume development, and research. I also lead communicative strategies for my university's initiative to transform rural living and manage communications interns. Additionally, I have doctoral experience in quantitative statistics and qualitative methodology, and I am a secondary instructor for a master's level statistics course. I have three years of experience as a freelance editor and writer, and I have experience in tutoring/instructing K-12, undergraduate, and graduate students on writing, reading, editing, dissertations, theses, statistics, and ACT/GRE prep. My research interests include rural depopulation and secondary aspirations of high school students. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and playing with my German Shepherd!
