Hello!

My name is Kira and I am a State Certified Secondary English Education/ Public Speaking instructor. I am available for private tutoring sessions in any English Language Arts area, speech preparation and writing, and remedial reading for adults.

I have twelve years of experience teaching English with students from sixth to twelfth grades. I have worked for five years in GED preparation programs and with remedial adult instruction. I have four concentrated years of teaching special education, as well as two years of teaching English and Public Speaking at the community college level.

I have a passion for words that I would love to share with you or your student! I am available for private tutoring sessions by appointment. I can also assist with essay writing for standardized tests, homeschooled and NMC students for portfolio papers and Public Speaking papers. For those not currently a student, I am also available for cover letter and resume writing and interview skills.

I have a BS in Secondary English Education/Public Speaking, Debate, and Drama from Ferris State University and a MA in Educational Technology from Michigan State University. I have a Special Education, EI endorsement from Central Michigan University. All verification and references are available upon request.
