The student and I began by cracking open her prep book and going over some general test advice; I helped filter the book's beneficial advice from its detrimental advice, adding more tips where necessary. We also went through the chapter on sentence completion questions, doing several sample problems along the way. I noticed that she reads very quickly, which will help her tremendously with time-management on the test. She struggled with some of the test vocabulary, though, and we will work on improving that in future sessions.

The student and I finished going through the practice double passage critical reading questions and the improving sentences and improving paragraphs questions. We also corrected his last practice test and worked through the writing section from practice test 3.

Reviewed reading comprehension and mathematics section of the mid-test. Reviewed algebraic equations, working with fractions, word problems. Introduced inference-based problem solving for reading comprehension.

I worked with the student on a review for her chemistry test. We reviewed how to calculate percentage yields, limiting reagents and molarities. Her biggest problem was finding limiting reagents, but I think she seemed to get it by the end of our session.
