The past five years have been a steady incline of accomplishments in my professional life. I began working for Montclair High School in 2011 as a job coach in the Transition Program. Within this capacity I realized my career path should be in education. I enrolled in a post baccalaureate certification program to become certified to teach elementary school. During my graduate study I maintained a strong GPA and received my K-6 certification in two years (four semesters). This past year I accepted a job in Rutherford, NJ as the Gifted and Talented/Keyboarding teacher. Since I received my bachelor's degree in Humanities, I had enough credit requirements to apply for the middle school Social Studies and English Language Arts endorsements upon passing the Praxis exam for both subjects, which I did.Being a musician has taught me many valuable lessons which make me an outstanding teacher. In order to be a successful musician one must be patient, intelligent, diligent, meticulous, and good at multi-tasking. Not only am I a musician, but I have played in several bands since I was thirteen years old. Being a part of a band requires one to be a productive team member, creative, responsible, committed, and passionate. When my fingers were bleeding from playing the guitar for six hours straight, while trying to play a riff just right, I learned how to believe in myself and trust that my hard work and dedication will prevail. When I had worked a forty hour work week and had to drive three hours to play an overnight, weekend show, it took passion, commitment, and dedication to show up for my band mates, ready to play and enjoy every second of it. As a teacher, when I am presented with a challenge, I believe in my abilities to problem solve, my experience with working cooperatively with others to find a solution, and my passion for succeeding; all of which I have developed as a musician over the past sixteen years.

Growing up in a family of four and being the oldest of his family among the boys, Dr. Moise Durocher received a solid formal and family education. After completing his secondary education at the Centre De Formation Classique (CFC) in Port-au-Prince Haiti, Dr. Durocher then graduated from the Escuela Superior Politcnica de Chimborazo (ESPOCH) in Riobamba, Ecuador. He then continued his studies for a PhD in Mathematics at Escuela Superior Politcnica University Chimborazo (ESPOCH) in Riobamba, Ecuador, and then jointly with ESPOCH and Chihuahua University in Mexico, a postdoctoral degree in Experimental Design in Statistics, Data Analysis and Factor Analysis, and Correspondence Analysis with a concentration in Physics. Dr. Durocher has taught for many years for ESPOCH, COMIL (Colegio Miltar Combatientes de Tapi), PUCE (Pontificia Universidad Catlica del Ecuador) and others where he became assistant director at the Faculty of Hydor Ecology and Professor at the Faculty of Marine Biology both, from the Pontificia Universidad Catlica del Ecuador (PUCE). For about 2 years, he was in charge of the department of hydroecology and mathematics for the university. Then Dr. Durocher travelled to South Korea to continue a study based on "Economic Development Strategy" Currently Dr. Durocher completed a Master's degree in Education Science in the USA at Grand Canyon University. Dr. Durocher worked for the Haitian government for 15 years. He was chief of staff at the USP's direction under the administration of the late President Boniface Alexandre, where he was also chief of identification for almost fifteen years at the National Palace of various Haitian presidents. Dr. Durocher, also a professor of mathematics for almost fifteen (15) years at the State University of Haiti / Faculty of Sciences and Quisque / UNIQ University. Dr. Durocher is passionate about driving future generations to reach their highest potential. He lives according to his motto "tends towards infinite", which helps Dr. Duroche to move forward positively and see challenges as opportunities. Durocher's vision is to create a strong community in his home country where he believes that law and order must be respected. However, I am also able to teach other subjects such as math through high school levels, and standardized test prep (SAT, ACT, PCAT, etc).I have been tutoring with Varsity Tutors since June 2018. While in undergrad, I was a college-level General and Organic Chemistry tutor, as well as a Chemistry laboratory instructor.
