Algebra Regents tutoring sessions allow students to focus on what they need to know for the test. For example, a student who struggles with Statistics and Probability can emphasize those areas during their Algebra Regents prep. In contrast, classrooms and dedicated review courses are likely to gloss over both areas in favor of Algebra and Functions because of their relative weight.
An experienced Algebra Regents tutor can also answer any questions a student has about the format of the exam. It lasts for three hours, and students are prohibited from leaving early even if they finish with time to spare. Therefore, students should plan to take their time on the test.
