As a graduate of Wheaton College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, I have developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking and communication. My passion for teaching, particularly in French, stems from my extensive background in the language, which I began studying in sixth grade and continued to AP level, achieving a gold medal in the National French Contest and earning the Illinois State Seal of Biliteracy. With experience tutoring peers during high school, I have honed my ability to break down complex concepts into easily understandable terms, tailoring lesson plans to meet individual student needs. I believe in fostering a supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and engage deeply with the material. My goal as a tutor is not only to enhance students' academic skills but also to instill a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
