Certified Tutor

As a passionate tutor pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Spanish at Texas Tech University, I specialize in teaching calculus and chemistry, including IB courses of those subjects (I obtained my IB diploma in 2023), as well as foundational math and reading skills. With over a year of tutoring experience, spanning from elementary to collegiate levels, and currently being a student myself, I am able to connect and relate to challenges students may be facing and aim to foster a supportive learning environment that creates space to ask questions and explore concepts deeply. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering curiosity and critical thinking, allowing students to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, teaching them necessary material to succeed in class, but also skills allowing them to be independent in their academic future. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy participating in learning events through the American Institute of Chemical Engineers to broaden my horizons of understandings through experimentation and career growth.
