Hi! I'm a certified teacher with three years of experience working with students ages 6 to 13. I specialize in English Language Arts, reading, and writing, and I truly love helping students grow in confidence and skill.
I'm LETRS certified, which means I've been trained in the science of how kids learn to read and write. I use that knowledge every day to make reading and writing feel more approachableand even fun! Right now, I'm also in grad school earning my master's degree in education, where my research focuses on literacy development.
Whether your child needs help sounding out words, organizing their thoughts into a strong paragraph, or diving deeper into reading comprehension, I'm here to support them in a way that feels clear and encouraging. I work hard to meet each student where they are and to create a positive, low-stress learning environment.

Outside of teaching, I’m usually out running, hiking, or surfing whenever I can. I love staying active—it helps me clear my head and feel good. I’m also a big fan of reading (especially anything fiction) and always have a book (or two) going. Traveling is another big part of my life—I love exploring new places, meeting people, and getting a feel for different ways of living. It keeps life interesting and helps to bring fresh energy into my work!
