Certified Tutor

I'm a student at Utah State University, pursuing a dual major in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education! I find a lot of fulfillment in seeing students progress and love how the education field allows for so much creativity and fun! I have gained experience as a volunteer reading tutor and intern at Aspen Elementary School in Orem, UT, where I provided one-on-one assistance in Math and English. My greatest strengths lie in English Language Arts, where I excel in helping students improve their reading, writing, and essay composition skills. I believe in breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and using clear objectives to guide lessons, ensuring that each student achieves success at their own pace. I am also enthusiastic about History and enjoy exploring various cultures, religions, and political systems around the globe. Some of my hobbies include painting, playing the piano, reading, and spending time outside.
I truly believe and know that the more wisdom and knowledge we have, the better we are able to express ourselves, make educated arguments, and work toward societal change.
