I am a passionate tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University. I love teaching and learning in subjects like calculus, physics, computer programming, and computer design. With 2 years of tutoring experience at Sandhills Community College, where I earned the Zihal Super Student Tutor Award, and 2 years of teaching assistant experience at NC State, I have experience with a wide range of subjects, teaching methods, and student counts. My teaching methods are usually focused on individual student needs, starting with establishing a strong understanding of theory, followed by practical exercises, and finishing with retrospectives and discussion. For me, teaching is not just about imparting knowledge, but about helping students to succeed and learn to enjoy the subjects I teach, and if I learn something along the way, that's a bonus! Outside of tutoring, I enjoy working on technology and hands-on projects, which helps me color my teaching with real world application and experience.
