As a current Harvard student, I am a dedicated education professional with years of experience supporting students in developing strong writing skills across academic, creative, and admissions-focused contexts. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from the University of Tampa and a master's degree in International Relations from Northeastern University. I am currently pursuing my second master's degree in higher education at Harvard University, with a focus on enrollment strategy and equity in higher education. My passion lies in helping students find their voice and express themselves clearly and confidently through writing. I've worked with K12 students in China as an online English tutor, supported undergraduates in writing centers, and assisted graduate applicants with their personal statements for programs in law and medicine. I specialize in creative writing, academic essays, personal statements, and admissions writing for both college and graduate school. My tutoring philosophy is rooted in encouragement, patience, and clarity. I meet each student where they are and tailor my feedback to their individual needs, writing style, and goals. Whether a student is writing their very first college essay or refining a college or graduate school personal statement, I strive to make the process approachable and empowering. Outside of academia, I enjoy traveling, exploring global education systems, and reading nonfiction books that offer new perspectives on culture and equity. I believe writing is one of the most valuable skills a student can develop, and it's an honor to support learners on their journey to academic and personal growth.
