Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in Theatre Arts Education, K-12. This degree has prepared me has allowed me to work with students of many different ages, adjusting to help according to their level. I also was able to not only teach theatre, but use special drama-integration techniques to help students learn in any subject. I have written and taught lessons for varying subjects such as English, Science, Social Studies, Math, and Tagalog (I worked as a Taglog tutor preparing people to live in the Philippines, helping them reach intermediate level in only 6-9 weeks). I am passionate about meeting my students where they're at and figuring out their specific learning styles, giving opportunities to learn in unique waysthrough stories, hands-on experiences, and gamesso the knowledge will stick in their brain longer. I firmly believe that learning can be both lasting and fun!
