John: Massachusetts tutor
Certified Tutor
Hi! My name is John! I am a tutor of mathematics, physics, logic, and quantitative reasoning (and Minecraft for the younger kids). Currently, I am a math teacher at a private school in Virginia. I have classroom experience teaching all level of math (K-12), from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus. For older students, I also do standardized test prep tutoring in mathematics (SAT, ACT, and GRE) and logic (LSAT).
In college I majored in Mathematics and in Philosophy, with a focus on mathematical logic. I will be attending graduate school at the University of Notre Dame next fall.
Math and logic are difficult subjects, but they are subjects that can be learned! And often the right teacher can make all the difference. If you are struggling or simply want to improve your analytical thinking, consider reaching out to me with a message or (better yet) scheduling a lesson today!
in my free time I like to play soccer with friends, do logic puzzles, or read a good book. Currently I am reading Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World'.

I enjoy mathematics and logic, of course, but, because I am a bit of a nerd, my other interests include the natural sciences like physics, chemistry, and biology. My favorite food is pizza. And in my free time I like to play soccer with friends, do logic puzzles, or read a good book. Currently I am reading Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World'.
