I am very happy with our experience so far with Varsity Tutors. They matched my daughter with reading specialist Mary and she is wonderful! My 10 year old daughter feels happy after her sessions and believes her tutor has already helped her.

Certified Tutor

I am a current junior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign pursuing my bachelor's in statistics with minors in data science and creative writing. I started out as a teacher's assistant in a kindergarten-level Chinese class where I learned how to engage with students, and continued on to tutor subjects such as English, Math (from addition to college-level statistics), and the SAT. I believe that learning is a great way to improve one's life, both in terms of practical applications and personal enrichment. I hope that, as a tutor, I can help you achieve your learning goals and provide you with the skills to make learning smoother and more enjoyable. Outside of tutoring, I spend my time knitting, reading, exploring the outdoors, and picking up whatever hobbies I can find.
