I am a graduate of Capella University, where I received my PhD in Organizational Management with a Specialization in Project Management and I have over 25 years of project management experience. I hold several Scrum Alliance, Project Management, and Scaled Agile certifications, including the PMP, ACP, CSP, and SPC. I also hold several certifications in coaching including IC-Agile Certified Facilitator and IC-Agile Certified Coach. I really enjoy giving back to the profession and have been an active volunteer with the Project Management Institute since 2015. As a result, tutoring for me is a natural progression. I am passionate about the value of project management to organizations, as well as continual learning to remain versed in the latest techniques to improve its value. With students, I try to make project management concepts realistic, as I believe when they realize the expansive toolkit available to them, they will see the value of not only using the techniques for professional growth, but in personal endeavors as well.
