Certified Tutor

I am a working mathematician preparing to enter graduate school. I have extensive experience tutoring math at all levels and have been exclusively tutoring for three years.
My fascination with math began with a once-in-a-lifetime teacher that went above and beyond to connect me to the material like I never had before. If I can pass down her joy and appreciation for mathematics to even one more student, I will be ecstatic!
I know that for many people, math is something to be feared and avoided, but I conquered that fear by seeing the logic and philosophy behind math--believe it or not there is reason for every little thing we do! I enjoy sharing these tidbits with my students to keep them interested and appreciative of the work they are doing.
