With a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and a Master's of Education in School Counseling from Texas A&M-Central Texas, I am entering my 20th year in education. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working as an elementary classroom teacher, elementary school counselor, and Special Programs Counselor. This broad experience has given me valuable insights into the academic and emotional needs of students at all stages of development.
I have extensive experience meeting the needs of students in Special Education, 504, Gifted and Talented, and English as a Second Language programs. This has helped me to adapt my teaching strategies to support a diverse range of learning styles and ensure that each student receives the personalized attention they need to succeed.
My tutoring experience spans PK-12th grade, focusing on subjects such as reading, phonics, writing, and math, with additional expertise in SAT/ACT prep for reading and writing. I believe that forming a strong, trusting relationship with my students is essential to fostering an effective learning environment. By meeting students where they are and building on their individual strengths, I aim to help them not only improve academically but also gain confidence in their abilities.
As a tutor, my goal is to guide each student toward their academic goals in a way that feels personal, supportive, and achievable. Whether we're reinforcing foundational skills in early education or preparing for college entrance exams, I am committed to helping you reach your desired outcomes.
If you're looking for a tutor who is experienced, compassionate, and dedicated to meeting your unique needs, I would be honored to work with you to help you get where you need and want to be!

Outside of my professional life, I’m a proud dog mom to a lovable and energetic labradoodle who keeps me active and entertained. I’m also a devoted aunt to my niece and nephew, and spending quality time with them is one of my greatest joys. When I’m not caring for my fur baby or spoiling my family, I’m an avid reader, constantly getting lost in books—whether it’s fiction, personal development, or anything that sparks my curiosity. I truly believe that reading expands both the mind and heart, and it’s a passion I love to share with others!
