I cannot help but get excited when I imagine tutoring students (or adults, for that matter) because I know that ultimately I am going to learn more about them while causing them to expand their opportunities for a fulfilling life. I "keep it simple" when engaging students, hoping we all will have an enjoyable experience as we get to know each other. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management and a Teacher Certificate with a Reading Specialization. I would have a difficult time deciding what age with which I like to interact best, as I have taught five year-olds through fourth grade as well as having been Director of an adult career center.
