At Varsity Tutors I have worked with all age groups - from young children to older adults in a variety of topics. I have helped schools districts with reading and writing intervention skills in elementary and middle school as well as assisted in editing university essays. I teach both fine art and digital art software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Lightroom), Spanish, sociology, anthropology, history and art history with multiple age groups as well.
I have a passion for learning which led to me studying a variety of subjects at college. I attended Ohio Wesleyan University and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design and Drawing with a minor in Sociology and Anthropology. I have had drawings, graphics and books in museum shows and have graphic design work published. I refined my skills during my degree in the fine arts and continued developing them in the technical arts as well by using programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
I also have been studying Spanish for over seven years including upper level university courses taught completely in Spanish at the college level.
Writing is another passion, in which I have published works and have won scholarships due to academic essays.

I love anything related to art! This includes: drawing, figure drawing, graphic arts, painting, ceramics, book making, etc. Art history is also another interest and I love to explore shows of modern artists and museums of historical art when I am able. Spanish is another interest I have! I love to continually improve my skills in the language, but also to learn about the different cultures and traditions across the world. Additionally, I love to read and write. I am constantly found reading a book or working on a creative writing piece involving poetry or a novel.
