I graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (my major was Education) as well as I received a Master's of Education Degree in Instructional Design. Currently, I have a Teacher Certification in my state in Early Childhood Education. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in various educational fields. I have worked as a long-term substitute teacher in brick and mortar schools, academic tutor for students in my area, online tutor for students in the United States, a tutor at a tutoring center for students with learning disabilities and autism, and an online ESL tutor. I have taught all subjects, but my favorite subject is English, especially working with younger students with reading, vocabulary, phonics, and sight words. I have worked with all age groups, but my favorite has been pre-K through 3rd grade. I love showing my passion for teaching to my students by making learning fun. I provide a fun, loving, learning environment for each student. Also, I believe patience is key for all teachers. This helps the student know the teacher cares and will be there to help. I look forward to being a Varsity Tutor!
