Michelle: Massachusetts tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a graduate of Drury University with my Master's in Education Integrated Learning. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Services, with an emphasis in Youth and Families from the University of Phoenix, as well as attending Metropolitan Community College for their Early Childhood Education program. Throughout my life I have worked with students, families and many summer academies, programs, and camps. Since 2021 I have served as the Dean of Summer Academies for Truman State University, and the Assistant Director of the Institute for Academic Outreach focused on Early College Programs. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I have mainly worked with elementary students needing support in all areas, including reading support, middle school history, and all ages working on the HiSET or GED test preparation.
I am a strong supporter of education through finding the way that the individual best learns. Every person has their own style, what works for one person may not necessarily work for the next. I am here to help you work through the challenges, find the interest that helps you be most successful.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and my cats. I have a love of baking, renovating my 125-year-old home, festivals, and putting together puzzles.
