Certified Tutor

Hello! My name is Hope Roth and I am a graduate of Oakland University. I have received my bachelor's in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Mathematics, which allows me to teach K-8 math content. I am also comfortable and have experience with tutoring algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. I am very passionate about teaching students and helping them better understand math, why it is important, and how it can be used in the real world. This will be my eighth year teaching/working with students, as I have worked with students through various jobs/courses including teacher education courses, after-school programs, field placements, other tutoring positions, latchkey classrooms, and my student teaching internship. I would describe myself as a fun and outgoing individual. In my free time, I enjoy activities such as dancing, reading, yoga, and even playing classical piano.
