My passion for helping students stems from a genuine desire to foster growth, creativity, and confidence. At DeWitt Clinton High School, I engaged peers in collaborative art and coding projects, enhancing our school's visual appeal and making coding more accessible.
My academic journey from DeWitt Clinton High School to Smith College has expanded my knowledge and skills. I have worked in various capacities, including as an assistant in the Athletic Department and as a mentor with Girls Who Code and CodeNation, where I developed and taught coding lessons.
I particularly enjoy tutoring coding and art because they provide students with creative and analytical tools. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating an engaging, supportive learning environment through project-based learning. I aim to make students feel valued and capable.
Outside of academia, I am committed to community service and the arts, as demonstrated by my volunteer work with the Hospice of Westchester. My varied experiences have equipped me with the skills and passion to make a meaningful difference in students' academic journeys.

I love to do just about anything and everything! I'm huge on trying new things but, so far, I've learned that I love painting, I enjoy baking, I love going on hikes, and I love a good science-fiction novel my favorites being written by Lois Lowry.
