Certified Tutor

I am a student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science. I became a tutor because I enjoy teaching people new things about our world, and because I enjoyed my prior experience tutoring students who were struggling in school.
I tutor students in mathematics, United States and world history and government. My favorite of these subjects is history because you learn about so many interesting events and people from the past, and studying history enhances your understanding of the world we live in today.
I believe that the best way to help students learn is to build a close relationship with the student to better understand how they learn and make them comfortable asking questions. I also like to provide students with written examples and practice problems to get them more experience with the topics they are struggling with.
When not tutoring, I like to read history books and news articles, play video games, watch football and basketball games, and write.
