I have worked with children for more than twenty years and enjoy watching them become successful in their challenges. I have taught elementary special education and am currently a high school special education teacher. I have earned my bachelors in Criminal Justice, my masters in Special Education, and am currently working on my second masters in Clinical Mental Health with a focus on child and adolescent behaviors. I provide tutoring in the areas of reading, writing, lower levels of math, science, and history; I really enjoy reading and writing. Each individual learns differently, and it is important to identify the individual learning styles in order to provide successful services. I believe it's also important to demonstrate patience and have a good sense of humor when working with children.
